Overview

The Klaviyo integration brings your Klaviyo lists and segments into Cobalt as audiences, and you can also add new Cobalt popup subscribers to a Klaviyo list. This integration makes your cobalt communications much more powerful as we can dynamically sync your Klaviyo data and make sure your text campaigns and flows are going to the right customers.

Get Started

1. Go to Integrations, open Klaviyo, and click Connect to Klaviyo. Approve the connection in Klaviyo.

2. Back in Cobalt you'll see "Klaviyo connected successfully." The page now shows Connected and your Klaviyo account ID.

3. Under Audiences (Lists & Segments), turn on each Klaviyo list or segment you want to use in Cobalt.

4. Under Popup Push Destination, choose a Klaviyo list. When a new user subscribes to a Cobalt popup, it will be automatically synced to this Klaviyo list. You can remove the list at any time by clicking "Remove" or change the list by using the dropdown and click Save.

What happens next

Each audience you turn on appears on the Segments page with a Klaviyo label, and you can choose it as a campaign audience. It refreshes every 6 hours. Click Sync Now beside it to refresh it right away, and you'll see "Sync started." at the top.

Helpful Information

  • A synced segment only includes people who are already your subscribers. Cobalt matches Klaviyo profiles to your subscribers by phone number, so profiles with no phone number, or not yet in Cobalt, are left out.

  • A synced segment cannot be edited in Cobalt. To change who is in it, change the list or segment in Klaviyo.

  • Turning an audience off removes that segment from Cobalt.

  • Someone who rejoins after texting STOP is not added to your popup list again.

  • Disconnect stops all Klaviyo syncing, including forms, audiences and data pushes.

Troubleshooting
