Overview
Cobalt hosts a Messaging Terms of Service page and a Messaging Privacy Policy page for your business. You link to them by adding one sentence at the top of your website's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages.
Get Started
1. Go to Settings > Compliance. Under Company address, fill in your business address and click Save changes. Cobalt uses it on your hosted pages.
2. Under Hosted Legal Messaging Documents, find your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links. Click the arrow button to preview a page, or the copy button to copy its link.

3. Add this sentence to the top of your website's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages, using your own two links:
In addition, you agree to our Messaging Terms (your Terms of Service link) and Messaging Privacy Policy (your Privacy Policy link).
4. If you are still in account setup, tick both checkboxes in the Messaging terms & privacy policy step to confirm you added the sentence, then click Continue.
What happens next
Your hosted pages fill in your business name, address, messaging number and support email. Cobalt says the pages stay current as TCPA guidance and carrier requirements change, so you do not need to update them.
Helpful Information
Cobalt does not check your website. The checkboxes in setup are your confirmation.
The page links in Settings > Compliance are also shown to subscribers wherever Cobalt collects consent on popups and web forms.
Shopify stores: Paste the sentence in your Shopify admin under Settings > Policies. Setup also shows an Open your store's legal settings button that takes you there.
