Overview
Cobalt credits an order to your messaging when the buyer is one of your subscribers and a Cobalt touchpoint came before the purchase. Each order is credited once, to the strongest match, shown under Attributed via on the subscriber's Attributed orders tab.
How an order is credited
Cobalt checks these in order and uses the first match:
Coupon: The order used a discount code Cobalt gave out, with no time limit.
Cookie: A Cobalt popup showed during the same shopping visit.
Click: The subscriber clicked a link in a text within your Click window. The latest click gets the credit.
Delivery: A text was delivered within your View window, even without a click.
New subscriber: They joined through a popup, web form or checkout within your Click window. A checkout sign-up is not credited for the order placed at that checkout.
Texts include campaigns, flows and conversation replies. Cobalt matches the buyer to a subscriber by email, phone number or the browser they shopped on. Subscribers imported from a file do not count as new subscribers.
