Overview
A custom report is an export you design yourself. You choose a data source, the columns you want and a date range, and Cobalt builds a CSV file you can download or schedule. Custom Reports is part of the Pro plan.
Get Started
1. Go to Custom Reports and click Create report.
2. Enter a Report name, then under Choose a data source:
Campaigns
Flows
Conversations
Subscribers
Popups
Segments
3. Under Select data points, select the columns to include. Each source has its own list of Dimensions and Metrics.
4. Optional: under Filters, click Add filter to narrow the rows.
Under Date range, choose a Preset range such as Last 30 days, or a Custom range with From and To dates.
Under Schedule, choose Off, Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
5. Under Preview, click Run preview to check the first rows before you save.
6. Click Save report. In All reports, click the three dots on its row and choose Generate. When the status changes from Generating to Ready, choose Download CSV from the same menu.
What happens next
A scheduled report runs at 8:00 AM your account's local time. Weekly reports run on Monday and monthly reports run on the first. When a scheduled run finishes, Cobalt emails the person who created the report a link to download it. The file is not attached.
Helpful Information
Dates use UTC days, so a range can differ slightly from the dashboard.
The preview shows up to 25 rows. The downloaded report includes every matching row.
Edit Settings changes future runs only.
Delete removes the report and every CSV it produced. You cannot delete a report while it is generating.
If a run fails, the reason appears under the report name and the row menu offers Retry.
